My name is Hudson, and I am a UX designer based in San Francisco, CA. I grew up in the Bay Area and have always been interested in design to some capacity throughout my life.

Prior to making a career change into design, I was working in the service industry as well as the live music scene for a few years. This background and previous experience helped me develop skills in areas such as attention to detail, communication, collaboration, and a strong technical aptitude, which all naturally translated into UX design.

For the past 10 years, I have spent a lot of my free time making electronic music. As I invested more and more time in music, I became increasingly fascinated with the intersection of technology, design, and music. Seeing as a lot of electronic music involved the use of software, I developed an interest in learning the process by which the digital tools I was using were created. It got to the point where I wanted to start developing some myself, which is when I figured UX design would be the perfect combination of all my interests and, most importantly, something that was also both creative and technical.

Working as a UX designer gives me the opportunity to make an impact on people by building products and experiences that can help improve their lives.

These are a few things that inspire and motivate me, and I am always seeking to continue learning and developing as a designer.
